Chef Jeremy's recommendations:

I'm always asked what kitchen tools I love and can't live without. Well, here are some of my absolute favorites. But let me make one thing clear: you don't need all of these tools or to get the exact same items to whip up incredible dishes!

Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons

Versatile, durable, and I love how these measuring spoons fit inside spice jars.

View

Cutting Boards

Stay away from flimsy, disposable boards. They are hard on your knife and can curl and slide (Danger!). Fancy wood boards are great, but these maximize the dollar, safety and effectiveness.

View

Mixing Bowls

Plenty of glass and aluminum bowls will work great. These are my faves because they have rubber bottoms to hold them in place, lids, and attachments.

View

Soft Spatulas

Don't mess around with those 'pretty' home-cook spatulas. These will be the last ones you ever need to buy. Flexible enough to get into tight corners and durable enough to stand up to 500° Fahrenheit.

View

Metal Tongs

These allow for great grip and heat resistance.

View

Microplane

Don't mess around with any other.

View

Box Grater

One-piece stainless steel makes this one ideal.

View

Internal Probe Thermometer

Thermometers can be temperamental. This isn't the most affordable, but I've had GREAT luck with it.

VIEW

Kitchen Shears

These workhorses will stand the test of time.

VIEW

Juicer

I've had the enamel peel off on several enamel coated versions, so I like this one best.

View

Air Fryer

I love the Philips brand and recommend buying the biggest one you can afford and have storage space for (they're never big enough!). Remember, you can get similar results in a convection oven.

VIEW

Instapot (pressure cooker)

The original Instant Pot brand does it right and it's the only one I've seen with a stainless-steel insert.

VIEW

Dutch Oven - the splurge

Le Creuset is LUXURY at it's finest for the home cook. Buy the biggest one you can afford because they're never big enough and they're pretty!

View

Dutch Oven - for the budget-conscious Shopper

Lodge's Dutch Oven performs incredibly. And even more affordable options exist. I look for enamel coating and a consistently thick base and walls.

View

Induction Cooktop

Want the power of a gas cooktop in a portable version? This is it. It's also the make and model I use for all my Launch My Health cooking. Note: cookware must be magnetic to work on an induction cooktop (stainless steel or cast iron).

Knives

If you've taken my knife skills class, you know the Chef Knife is where it's at! So instead of buying a block of knives that you won't use all that often, I recommending putting that money into buying one great Chef Knife. There are many options, so take you pick for what fits your budget.

Good - Chef Knife

This meets my recommendations of having the blade run the length of the handle and uses rivets.

Better - Chef Knife

Henckle is a great knife brand.

Wustoff is excellent and my go-to knife brand.

View

Helpful for small tasks and small hands

View

Hone

All hones are pretty much created equal. Take your pick!

Sharpening Stone

All are created equal. Take your pick, but look for two sided 400/1000.
